The price made me hesitant, but I was in the market for a portable coffee maker and this CANWAY percolator seemed to fit the bill. After a week of testing, I must admit, it's a solid performer. The stainless steel construction feels sturdy, just what you'd want on rugged hikes. My initial concern about the glass knob being fragile proved unfounded - it's surprisingly robust. Brewing was easy; simply load grounds into the basket, pour water up to the desired level, light the stove, and wait for the perking sound. Coffee wasn't espresso-level strong but had a nice full-bodied taste. My one critique? The pot can be tricky to clean due to its narrow neck. Overall though, it's a great compact set that brews decent coffee on-the-go.
