Our Experience

Took me a while to decide but finally, I bit the bullet and bought this Fire-Maple Antarcti kettle. As an avid hiker, I'd been using cheap aluminum pots that always ended up dented or burnt after a few trips. So, when I found this one made of durable stainless steel (SUS304), I thought it was worth a shot.

What really sold me was its portability. The compact size and lightweight design meant it fit perfectly in my backpack without adding too much weight. It even came with a handy carrying bag for easy transportation.



After a week of use, I'm impressed with how quickly it boils water over an open fire – my morning coffee has never tasted so good! The wide base ensures stability on uneven surfaces, and the bail handle is comfortable to hold even when the kettle's hot. Plus, clean-up is a breeze since food doesn't stick.



However, there's one minor critique: while I appreciate the non-stick finish for easy cleaning, it seems quite fragile. After just a week of use, I noticed some slight scratches on the interior coating. But hey, that's what you get for using it over an open fire! Overall though, this kettle has become my new hiking companion, and I'm looking forward to many more adventures together.
