I purchased two of these sleeping bags for my grandsons. They love them. They are lightweight but will keep you warm without weighing you down. They launder nicely and are water resistant for a quick spill. The roll up nice for storing between usage. There's no off putting smell that smells sleeping bags have. I've not used these outside but I think they would be fine on top of a tent flooring or tarp.
