The price made me hesitant at first; seemed a bit steep for something so small. But after hiking season started and I'd had enough of cold instant coffee, I decided to give this Thous Winds kettle a try. I was surprised by its sturdiness – it's lightweight but feels robust, unlike some flimsy camping gear.

I liked how quickly it boiled water. Even with just a small flame on my camp stove, it took less than five minutes to get my morning tea brewing. The spout pours well too; no drips or leaks.

However, the lid does not fit tightly when locked in the open position, which can make packing it away a bit of a nuisance. It's a minor thing but worth noting if you're someone who likes a neat campsite. Despite that, I've been using this kettle daily on my hikes and it's proven to be a reliable addition to my gear.
