The price made me hesitant at first, but I decided to give these Woodpower PowerBars a try after reading countless positive reviews. Three weeks in, I'm pleasantly surprised. The solid beech wood construction feels sturdy and reassuring under my hands during push-ups and dips, even with my 180 lbs. I appreciate how the non-slip grips keep my sweaty palms from slipping off, which has been a problem with cheaper plastic ones. However, I found the bars a tad wider than I'm used to, making it slightly challenging for narrow grip exercises at first. Overall, though, they're well-made and have become a solid addition to my home gym setup.
