After reading countless reviews and comparing specifications across several brands, I decided to invest in the Demon United Podium Full Face Bicycle Helmet. Having used it daily for nearly a month, I find it offers excellent value for its price.
The helmet's retention system is commendable. It employs a dial-adjust fit system that ensures a snug yet comfortable fit, with or without glasses. The integrated visor provides ample eye protection and doesn't obstruct peripheral vision, making it perfect for trail riding.
However, I did notice that the cheek pads could use a tad more padding. While they are sufficient for most rides, longer durations resulted in some slight discomfort. This is a minor critique, though, as the helmet's overall performance and safety features have been impressive thus far.
