I was skeptical at first about these weight plates, given their price point compared to other brands. But after a few weeks of training, I'm impressed by how solid they are. They're definitely not some cheap, hollow knock-offs. The iron is thick and consistent throughout, with a smooth, rust-resistant coating that's held up well despite my sweaty hands. I appreciate the attention to detail on the edge, which has a slightly beveled design that makes handling safer and more comfortable.

However, I noticed that while the plates are accurately weighted according to their markings, they're not perfectly balanced in terms of density distribution. It's not noticeable during regular exercises like bicep curls or shoulder press, but it becomes evident when performing more precise movements like snatches or clean and jerks. Still, for the price and quality, these Signature Fitness plates are a steal. I'll be buying more to complete my set.
